Adam Sher, previously a partner at an Am Law 100 law firm, loves working closely with his clients to achieve their goals, strongly believing that collaboration leads to the best results. He has significant experience representing closely-held companies, real estate developers, investors, private equity firms, banks and non-traditional lenders, in a wide range of transactions involving commercial real estate and other industries.
Adam is highly efficient, able to get to the heart of a problem very quickly, and brings his broad skill set to bear in getting deals done. Given his ability to simplify things and take the parties’ different motivations and leverage into account, Adam really shines when a client has difficult parties on the other side or the transaction is particularly complicated. An experienced contract negotiator, Adam knows what is and is not customary in his markets, and helps his clients strike the best deal possible with a minimal amount of brain damage.
Trained at top-tier New York City law firms and having handled multi-hundred million dollar deals across the U.S. and overseas, Adam understands the legal, business and financial implications involved in multifaceted commercial transactions. He counsels clients with respect to asset and equity purchases, sales, real estate development, financing (for both borrowers and lenders), leasing, loan workouts and joint venture arrangements. He has also handled non-traditional financing deals, including sale-leasebacks and mezzanine financing transactions.
An avid mountain biker and “gravel” cyclist, Adam is a past president and current member of the Board of Directors of the Boulder Mountainbike Alliance, a non-profit organization whose mission is to create for an engaged community, better mountain bike trail experiences that are fun, healthy and sustainable in the greater Boulder, Colorado area.
